Mocha is acting really strang! i let him out of his cage to get some exercize and thought that it wouldn’t madder that lulu’s cage was there  sense she was on the top shelve and probably would not come down. so i let him out and he goes out snifs her cage and dashes back in to his cage thumping the whole time! i thought  he was just being hyper or something so i didn’t think much about it. but when he came out again, he ran back to his cage thumping again! then he stayed in his cage thumping once and awail. Whats wrong?

yestureday i was cleaning the house and the garage cuz we have somone looking at our house and totaly forgot got to feed them till night! that was the first time that i had ever done that! how could of i been so stuped! so i have know idea if that has any idea of him acting so starang but i am scared he might be overly scared about somthing!

Did they have hay when you forgot to feed them? It could be that Mocha just didn’t expect Lulu there and was caught off guard when he noticed her scent. They are not bonded yet so this is not at all uncommon.

Sometimes I fast my rabbits from pellets on purpose and just give extra hay. Don’t feel bad.

he’s fine but if you are worried still watch for him to potty.

no no no no no!!!!! i opened mocha’s cage to get him out for a bonding session, he was laying down and when i stuck my head in the cage he got up i stuck my hand in there to pick him up and he ran into his litter box and lunged at me grunting! this is NOT normal! he has only done this one other time and that time it was my fault. i think i smelled like lulu that might have been why. but i have picked him up after i picked up lulu before. thats what i don’t understand. i picked him up after i had washed my hands and put him in the living room he is now hopping around so i think he is ok. maybe he is just tired idk.

He does seem to be reacting to the scent of Lulu. I think if he continues to eat and poo OK, it is probably smelling lullu that is bothering him.

I would suggest washing up, putting on a clean shirt, then trying to play with him again. If he is lethargic, or having digestion problems, or seems to be grinding his teeth while sitting like a meat loaf, he may have something wrong and need to see a vet.

but it sounds more like he is complaining about lulu – in his own way.
