Oh I’m actually thrilled that she doesn’t have the typical yorkie coat…good grief, with all the grooming I have to do for the bunnies (not to mention the kitties) I would be over my head if I had to keep Jenna looking show quality! She already has a small wardrobe for winter, complete with a pink camouflage hoodie and a ‘ski jacket’ and scarf.
Yup. Jenna Bean, Beanie Baby (since she would look like one compared to my other dogs), Teeny Beany, Beany Weeny…or just “The Bean” lately…seems to be her nickname. (she took a lick off the straw of my Starbucks one day in town while I wasn’t looking, so I suppose even Coffee Bean would do) We’ve also called her Pupcake, Rug Rocket, Pup-a-chu, Wiggle Worm, Gigglesnort, Yorkie Doodle and about a half dozen others. It’s a wonder she knows the name she’s called by. *rolleyes*
Yeah she’s pretty easy to handle. At the same time I have to worry that she’s always at my feet and a real caution when we’re walking outdoors. She will pick absolutely anything up in her mouth and likes to walk through underbrush that I couldn’t hope to climb through if I ate one of Alice’s mushrooms.
Still, she’s a doll and I am growing very fond of her. I still wish she had glomped to my daughter though as a constant companion like this would’ve been great for her.
No worries talking about Nick. This is a doggie thread! ^_^
