        Peter never mounts Little-Bit anymore.

Except when I’m immediately in their vicinity.

        Why?

Oh my gosh, lol! I had a hunch and was kind of hoping that’s what it was. They’re so sweet.

But…wait…wait no..! Little-Bit…is MY bunny-!! My baby! I-….oh I did give her to you, didn’t I Peter? Alriiiiiight. But treat her well! And we have to share! *nod*

Gosh, I feel like I’ve organized an arranged marriage and Peter has my blessing!

((Is there any way I can let him know that I won’t try to ‘own’ her so he doesn’t mount her every time I’m with them? ))

I wonder if when you enter their area, you ignore Little Bit and lavish him with attention… if that would help? It’s worth a shot.

Now that you mention it, Coco ever tried to mount Jackson while I was watching them. I think it Does have to do with “Mine” and “I am the boss, just so every one knows”

Maybe Peter needs a treat first to reassure his ego

Lol. xD God I don’t want to ignore Little-Bit though! I have been making a conscious effort to DEFINITELY groom Peter whenever he hops up to me though and I think that may be helping a little.

I think that probably in my personal case it might have something to do with the fact that he knows that whenever mommy enters the x-pen area there’s a good chance that she’s going to start picking up bunnies and taking them away back into their homes. Maybe that’s the reason.

He could do it from stress or excitement also. My thoughts are I’d be careful how I respond to it. Peter might be training you! What do you do when he does this? Let it go til he’s done? Ignore it? Or do you go to them?

It’s not only he and her bonding. It’s important how you come into the equation in their relationship also. The humpingmay eventually stop.  It could  be his coping mechanism to the changes in his life. He has 2 girls now, that’s alot for him to take in.
