Last night, I got fed up with blocking off the mushroomy areas of the bunny room from Mr. Bunny, so I decided to lock him in his cage until everything’s figured out.
So a little while ago today, I went to feed and see the rabbit..
And he was sitting OUTSIDE of his still-locked cage.

He couldn’t have unlocked and re-locked the cage himself – it’s physically impossible for a rabbit to do so with that cage’s locks…Nor could he have gotten through a crack or jumped out the top – the cage has no top door and is put together far too tightly for a bunny to squeeze out.
Here are the most likely ways this could’ve happened:
1. My Dad let the bunny out this morning and then re-locked the cage, with no bunny inside. Which he wouldn’t do, because it would mean the rabbit would have no access to hay and water for 8 hours.
2. Some family member has a cruel sense of humor.
3. I somehow hallucinated into thinking the rabbit was inside the cage when he was really outside of it last night and my dad didn’t notice when he turned on the light.
4. My rabbit is magic and can teleport.
I’m going with option 4.
