I have been noticing recently that both Sully and Frankie are becoming jealous when I spend time with the other. Their pens are right beside each other so I split my time hanging out with each of them. When one bun sees me in the other pen they will start running back and forth and become almost frantic while pressing their little noses through the Xpen. I feel so bad! I think Sully was even trying to nip Frankie through the pen while I was in Frankie’s side. They are always very happy to see me and I am worried this may create resentment between the two when they see the other bun getting attention. Has anyone else had this happen or felt this way?

Not necessarily jealous … but Hannah loves to be petted and fawned over, so when she sees me trying to pet Otto without her, she’ll run over and shove her face in there to get pets. lol

Hatter gets jealous of my husband. If Hatter feels I’m showing my husband more attention than him he will let me know!  Have you tried putting a sheet up during this time so that the other rabbit can’t actually see you in there?

Ha! ha! ha! My buns did that too. Of course due to Baxters marking they can’t be in the room anymore It is cute and sad at the same time when they stick thier nose way out through the xpen. lol I would do what Hatter suggested and put a sheet up during this time so the other bunny doesn’t see if you are worried about it.

I don’t know if mine get jealous or if it’s me just thinking it in my head. But, when I pet Indy and he squishes down and starts really enjoying it,Bee comes over and is like Uhmmm what the heck are you doing? Then she will headbutt me or have a weird look in her face like she’s mad at me. The other day I was holding the baby on my lap and Indy came over and was flinging himself on me to see the new guy. So I sat on the floor and let Indy sniff him….which then turned into grooms. Indy was loving that babies ears up and then out comes Bee from under the bed in full charge and attacks Indy. It wasn’t anything violent just a WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! from Bee. I won’t be doing that again anytime soon. Indy’s just Mr. Social these days, even grooming Bun through the cage. I can see why Bee is so jealous since Indy is just a cheater :p

Maryann is jealous of my girlfriend. Whenever she sees me hugging her, she immediately mounts Dono as if to tell her that this bun is hers and she can’t have him!

Moose doesn’t like it when monkey is let out to play and he isn’t. He tries to get at her through the bars. of course, when it is HIS turn, he goes and lounges next to her pen. Silly man.

BIG TIME!  Lainey doesn’t like to miss out on a thing!  I feel bad for Gulliver sometimes ’cause he is always grooming her and putting his head down & rubbing into Lainey, just to be ignored…most of the time.  They lay in close proximity often and love the pets while scrunching together…best part is the hand rubbing up & down their sides together.  If I pet one without the other, its either a dirty look (I’m serious!) or they’ll but in…Lainey at least.  She also acts jealous of my cat Lucy as well and Lucy acts the same toward Lainey…both girls trying to be the diva!!!  I have to be very dilligent about equal time for each one…and love it!

Jack always has to be right there in the middle of it all.  If I pet Vivian, he must come over and request to be petted by me or be groomed by her.  It doesn’t matter which happens, but one of us better abide, or he’ll tried to get all humpified on poor Viv.    He will also let me know that Viv is HIS gal and he is the boss of her when I step in the room.  75% of the time, he tries to mount her when I enter the bunny room.  Vivian always tells him to back off, but as long as I pet Jack, he normally doesn’t get too crazy — because the Human Slave has shown she knows her place in Jack’s Kingdom.

Vivians lips are so cute in that avatar.

Jealous.   Thats Cottons middle name.   Don’t dare pet an intact male bunny or I will get chewed up litterally.

When I go to pet Ruby in her play area  I shut the door some so Cotton can’t see us.  Else he hops over to his litterbox and stares at us.  lol  Then he will leave some poop by the door.

I think that is why they don’t get along what started their fight.  Jealousy.  Poor Ruby when Cotton comes for pets at nite she is in her house.  She has full view of us and I feel so bad for her.  However when Boo goes to bed it is her turn again.

These fur children I tell you.

Ohhh bunnytowne we call that “rage pooping” in my home. Since blocking off the dogs again from downstairs, Leia has learned how to jump over it, and the poor pompom Wickett can’t. So…what else is there left to do to show how upset you are? Poop in front of the front door. You are sure to get attention that way, and sure that someone will step in it. RAGE!!!

During the bonding process for Chubs and Comet, Chubs would get so jealous that it could cause a fight the next time they were left alone. I had to start being very careful to give equal at-the-same-time attention so that would stop happening! He still gets jealous now that they’re bonded but now he will run over to me and Comet and nudge his head in too, or if it’s a really active part of the day, he’ll chase Comet off or even nip him. lol He can be quite the little twerp. I try to always pet them together to avoid it all around. Comet gets jealous too but he will just dig furiously at the floor if he is jealous, not take it out on anybody. He’s too sweet!
