  My male 4 month old rabbit very much acts like a puppy! LOL He will loaf around his pen (right now he is confined until neuter) and when I get in there with him, he becomes this adorable rabbit 1/2 puppy! It’s amazing! He gets so excited he about pees himself !! He will run and hop and then climb onto me and sniff sniff sniff, then lick me on my hands everywhere. He also does this wierd nibbling thing to my clothes and hair. He isn’t chewing because he is very gentle. He does do it in one place very long either and it is all over me. lol. Is he grooming me? He is soooo attention seeking! If I am sitting at the computer he will stand there and stare at me and when I look at him he does this wierd hop thing. Like, “come on! come play with me!” I swear, if he could bark, he would! Ever since I changed his habitat and gave him more space he is a totally different bunny! He is sooo happy!

  Okay, I just went into his pen to brush him before I went to bed (he likes that). I noticed he was dropping scent pills again so I put the brush down to put them back into his litter box. He picked the brush up and ran with it!!! LOL It was so funny!

  lol yes, I am discovering the antics of young male bunnies…
  My mini rex will binky when I come into the room and talk to him and will run to the front of his pen. I think it is just a personality thing and he is showing you how much he loves you! My bunnies always have a few poops outside the litter box too but doesn’t bother me too much. Baby bunnies are so fun aren’t they? Sounds like your guy is turning into a happy well adjusted bun! The grooming may be a bit hormonal, I’m not sure.

  Yes, he does have a BIG personality!!! I love it! He does love me doesn’t he? lol That makes me feel good that he is bonding with me as much as he is! I love the grooming thing too. He doesn’t binky as much as Bella does but he still bounces off the walls! lol

  His hormones are starting to come through, he can’t help but be all over you. It will get even more pronounced. He may start honking at you soon and spraying at you, too, to mark you as ‘his’.
