The Vet called today and said that he is okay to have his surgery! I’m nervous! I scheduled him for June 17th. I figured I’d give him some time to say goodbye to his little boy bits. LOL  I mean, he just got them! Is there anything I should ask the Vet before his appointment? Should I be worried about him after his neuter?

He should be fine. Just limit his activities after, no jumping or climbing allowed

Just ask the vet (not the receptionist) if he should fast before the surgery. He should NOT. The vet should know that, and tell you to feed him normally.
Otherwise, Monkeybun gives good advice, and we will answer any questions as the time nears. I would suggest reading former posts about the subject to get lots of info. that was previously discussed. Just put Neuter as a key word in the search button.

They said he does not need to fast because it isn’t good for rabbits.

I felt the same way before Sully was neutered. But it was an easier surgery than I thought and everything went smoothly. I made a thread about this somewhere. Your vet should be able to answer any questions you have and it will definitely help put you at ease! Good luck and healing vibes for your little guy!

Thanks! I scheduled it for the 17th because I needed time to collect info and feel better about it I guess. lol

                    Sounds like a good plan.

I was so scared that something would go wrong when we got Monty neutered, but he came through it fine and healed really quickly. It was scary for a bit when we first got him back because he had only just woken up from the anaesthetic when we picked him up, so when we got him home he couldn’t walk properly and wouldn’t eat. He was so floppy and sleepy, it would have been cute if I hadn’t been so worried. But it was definitely worth it!
