Hello Petzy, nice to meet you. I was a community leader for a while here on BinkyBunny about two years ago or so, but I just could not devote the time to it that was necessary to do a good job at it. I am glad to see that the site is still busy helping people and their bunnies.
If you look at the adoption photos on our website (http://therabbithaven.org) you’ll see some examples of the kinds of photos I take. These are highly staged, with the intent of showing off the bunny to perspective adopters. Action shots are another thing entirely, my camera is pretty bad and does not deal well with motion. As to my technique, ask MarkBun, he’s seen me in action taking photos at an adoption show! I usually try for interesting backgrounds that show off the rabbits coloring, toys and baskets as props, no flash, and I put the camera on continuous so I snap 5-10 shots at a time. I usually take 25-50 shots of each bunny, and find one good one in the mix.
