        Hey all, how is everyone?? I need an update on all you binky bunners! I’m doing okay and the buns are doing okay too. Comet seems to be making some headway on his snuffles…sneezing less, nose running less, still taking antibiotics. Chubs appears to be symptom free still. They are most deffinitely a bonded pair now and they snuggle most of the day/night. I will try and get some cute snuggly pictures up soon! Okay so my question…my job, my oh so demanding, likeable but horribly stressful job is keeping me out late A LOT and some days (like today) I see them for a few minutes in the morning before work, refresh hay, give morning pellets, a few pets, etc. and then after work (got home at about 9:30 pm) some pets, evening pellets and veggies and then i have to go to sleep! I feel awful with the amount of attention I’ve been able to give them lately! I know they have each other and man am I glad I stuck out dating and bonding so they do, but I still worry that I’m not giving them enough attention! Kc doesn’t live with me any more and they were used to one of us always being around… They don’t seem to be being destructive (aside from tearing apart their boxes) or anything but I worry…how much time do your buns spend with you every day?

        Oh and I should add that they are free roam 100% of the time, so it’s not like I’m locking them up or anything BUT…just not getting the time with them I used to….!!

          I don’t spend as much as I should with my 2, but that will change once they are bonded and able to be free roam together. Its hard right now as I still need to do what needs to be done around here, plus I gotta hang with the hubby, with the 2 buns in separate pens it does get hard to spend alot of time with each. Once they are bonded they can run happily wherever I will be at home

          And yay for bonded C&C!! <3

          And *hugs* for you, hope you’re doing ok without kc up there.

            Yay for Otto’s twin!!

            It’s hard, but this is why you got two right – so they can keep each other company. I’m sure they’re fine and having a grand time hanging out with each other. Especially since they have so much room to run around, I’m sure they’re doing great. Some day things with your job will change and they’ll be there waiting to love on you again 🙂

            I’m currently unemployed, so I spent all day with the buns. However, back when DH and I were both working we were only home and paying attention to Otto about 2-4 hours a day. And many days I was travelling, so there was only DH to spend some time with him (when he wasn’t playing video games). I wanted to get him a buddy while I was unemployed so that when I do go back to work, I don’t have to worry so much about him being lonely. Now that he has Hannah, I won’t worry about him a bit.

              I go through stages where I am just crazy busy and other times i can spend more time. This last month I have felt guilty because I haven’t spent the normal evening hours with them. Normally, I will spend a little time with them in the morning after I clean their area, then I work until around 7:30 (but i normally try and give them a few little head scratches throughout the day since I work from home) then normally I spend about an hour hanging out with them in the bunny room, or they’ll come out and just hang out in the evenings with us in the living room for a few hours.

              But this last month especially, I have just barely enough time to grab some dinner for myself, but I know things will get back on track again timewise, but in the meantime, I am glad they have each other.

                This is why I’m so down on myself lately…with the new dog here in the house, now there’s hardly any time to socialize with my three. I want to get them bonded so they can have a friendly fuzzy face to snuggle with when “Mummy” is so busy. And Mimzy has been separated so long from Pip, I often wonder if he actually misses her or has forgotten they were once cuddle bunnies.

                Now with a Yorkie running around though, I’m going to have to be even more careful where I wind up setting them up. I can only hope that by the time I get things back on schedule that the buns will forgive me for ‘slacking off’ so long! ^_^

                Even so…they all still lead much happier lives than some bunnies I’ve seen. ;_;
