Guess what.   The cd works however    the drivers are gone f or the wireless connect.    Dell said I could buy another 20.00 cd.  Pfffft.   Yeah right more n more $$$$$  forget that. m

He said I can download it from their site for free.  Uh  if I can’t access the internet on it how can I download it.   

Fouad finally took the dell away from me b4 I go crazy.   HE knows someone who can fix it. 

You know I try n try but I cannot fix a laptop.  Now why is that.  I am not a stupid person.  I can figure things out.

I have an emachine I was booting up the dell with.  If I can do that… you would think I could fix something. 

I wonder if I could download the drivers from the emachine cd that is also an xp.   Well for my sanity I will let someone else deal with it.

A cable man showed up this morning.   He copied the wireless file from dell support onto flash and installed it in dell.  It worked.  However I needed to install the audio video etc drivers. 

Ok try that then get   must install microsoft.  3.1 b4 can install these drivers. ok.   Go do that.    Then it restarts itself says i need to finish installing b4 I can log in.   Ok try that.  

Then find the dell can’t access the internet again.  OHohhhhh.   So I restart it hoping to bypass that little microsoft 3.1 thiingy.  Nope can’t get anywheres the screen won’t come back up after I hit skip it.    Ok back to square one again 

You know while I was booting it from the e machien cd  why did I have to try to fix it.  It worked just fine that way.  I try to fix it and now it really d oesn’t work    rofl…..

It is 5 years old and really not such a big deal anyways.   When fouad gets up I tell him please let your friend fix it .

Hmm maybe I can reinstall xp and copy the driver from another comp I have reinstall it and try to do something about that microsoft 3.1 thingy. Ahh if it didnt’ work last time …  Ok I can try and reinstall the wireless access and try again? 

Ummmm actually I think I need a life.   You all must be getting quite a kick out of my computer issues.  

You know I am getting quite an education with all this.  How about y’alls anyone learning anything. 

Like perhaps let a repair person fix it?  lol.    OH well.    Been quite interesting.   I keep thinking one day I am gona wake up and be able to fix all these laptops.   lol   yeah uh huh .
