yes it seems she thinks its all a game.LOL. i am not sure about crawling? is it like her stomach is touching the ground or is she just moving slowly?

Monkey does the same thing on the bed.. the crawling, not the pooping and peeing She is very interested in the smells, as she isn’t allowed up on it often. SHe has to investigate every inch of it very slowly to take it all in

As for the peeing on the bed… it was suggested to me at one point to put a plastic shower curtain on the bed for when the bunnies jump up. Protects it that way. Easier to clean up too! Once she is spayed her litter habits will hopefully get better

LEMONY HAS THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM! Except the bed is a good two and a half feet off of the ground. He still manages to get up there even when we try and block it off with pillows. We thought that it might go away with time, as he doesn’t pee anywhere outside of his cage. We tried those plastic mattress cover things over and under the blankets, but it made a huge mess anyway, and we gave up. We hope that neutering will help, but he is not allowed on the bed anymore. Perhaps you could try blocking off your bed with those grid things you can get from Target – they have been very useful in bunnyproofing under the bed.

Does she do this in other places?  Perhaps it’s just “a bed thing”  - Lemony is generally really good about peeing in his litterbox.  As for poo, he keeps it in the cage, but not necessarily in the litterbox.  

You said you were having litterbox issues in general – did you do the “pick a corner thing” before you down the litterbox?  And are you cleaning up accidents with diluted vinegar to get rid of the smell so he doesn’t go in the same spot again?  

Might be dumb questions… But that’s all I got.  Sort of a newbie too, we’ve been dealing with the same problems (ie: chewing destruction – bunnyproof EVERYTHING).

I guess I’m lucky, my bed is waist high for me, so miss monkey cant jump on it on her own I pick her up and put her on it for play time sometimes

Lemony does the binky thing too after he gets pushed off… That’s so funny, they totally know they are being naughty. Sometimes he will jump up like 5 times in a row just for the thrill of the chase.

Is she doing the tummy crawl type thing after digging? If so, it’s probably related. When they dig they push the pile of excavated dirt out using their front paws. Often stretching out onto the belly. Sometime indoors you see them do a digging motion and an arranging motion – like pushing bedding around. It’s all pretty cute to see.

Edit: just a thought – maybe she is flopping. Some end up more on the tummy when doing this. Have you seen her do the bunny flop yet?

If you can’t prevent her from getting on the bed, do water proof it (like with shower curtain) and maybe even put a litter box up there too. So she gets idea it’s ok to be on the bed – not ok to pee on it – ok to pee in litter box. That’s not too confusing right?! lol

Those picnic rugs that have a plastic backing on them might come in handy. If bun pees it absorbs into blanket part but hopefully not thru to bedding underneath.

My bun Indiana Jones used to pee on my bed, pillows…and even my face in the middle of the night. I had to lock him in his cage at night until he was neutered. All bed wetting has stopped since then.

Bee ….she is 4 months old and is constantly sniffing and digging in my bed. She dug a hole in my sheets but she isn’t peeing in it…yet.

I’ve seen them *dig dig dig* then like…push the blankets. Idk if thats what Lola is doing. Anywho, everyone told me the peeing would stop once my bun was speutered, and they were right. So just hang on and do what you can till you can spay her.

Some buns find the softness of the bed or pillow to be an ideal litter box. Others just do it to show you that they are angry at you. My first rabbit, when I had no idea how to treat them, had it’s life goal of getting onto my bed and peeing on my pillow. That’s all it lived for.
