I cannot find anything good or bad about them so to err on the side of caution I would not feed them to Cocoa. I don’t know the proper name either to look it up since I’m sure they aren’t really “violets” but then again, I don’t know.

Though “violets” are on the diet list,  like Sarita— I don’t know what wild wood violets are and when I google them, I end up more confused. So it will take me a little more time, but if anyone is an expert in plants and violets in particular, please chime in.

Violets should be part of the Viola Family, like pansy’s – and therefore Should be edible. The small white and/or purple ones that grow wild are indeed relatives of the ones we use as salad fixings. In Victorian times, The would pick and sugar them as desserts.
