Well today was the day for Anyas spay.

The vet said she was so nice to everyone wanting pats and cuddles (stupid rabbit never wants me to give her cuddles grumble grumble) she came through the op fine and eas eating very shorty after, the only issue was when she bit the nurse, hello I TOLD them that they have to give her the treats but no they said no treats but you really think you are going to put her out like that NOT give Miss Anya HER TREATS!

She is now home, i had a temp cage set up for her made form NIC but Bugz in his NEED to get to her ate through two cubes and was in her pen when I checked on her, but all he was doing was grooming her and pushing the pellet bowl right under her nose so I decided to stay with them and watch, may split them up again tonight but for the moment they are both curled up asleep with the only movement from Bugz who every now and then gives her a head lick.

Will keep you updated but seems to have gone well.

She is eating and when I put the veggies in Bugz dragged them across to her and nosed them towards her and waited for her to eat. She has made a few grunting noises but the vet says that it normal and i have the pain meds for her tomorrow morning she said that if I felt she needed it I could give it as early as middnight and as I am normally but I might do that. Bugz has been the perfect husbun taking care of her and looking out for her so thinking that I will leave them together, I figure that he will just break out again and I really don’t like what I am sure the NIC squares are good for his teeth.

I love Bugz! that is the sweetest thing.

It sounds like Anya is doing well, and Bugz is seeing to it that she eats. She’s in very good hands, uh paws, with the two of you.

Well today no one would think she had surgery! I let Bugz out to run around and she was climbing the walls trying to get out two so I let her out but with me there all she did was floppy in the middle of the room (pretty much normal for her) and watch Bugz binky by. I sat with her and rubbed her tummy of the outer edge of the shaved area (just to see what it felt like) and then stopped and gotten bitten for my troubled she likes that so i spent the nexxt hour being a bunny petting machine, back into their cage for a nap now both of them look like meatloafs at the moment sound asleep cuddled up next to each other, not sure what i was so worried about.

Well today she is out and a bit more active, seems to think that she needs more treats then normal. i use Nibble Os as their treats which they both LOVE and the vet says they are fine as they are just ground maize and Lucerne so they can have as many as they want (but i do try and keep them as a treat).
