I like WW if only because it works for me, which surprises me, since I’m not a club joining person, but the meetings seem to really help.
Since I wrote this morning I walked 2 miles briskly at a nature preserve here that’s flat, but laid out with a wood walking path for a mile, or a half mile. I walk the mile than go around the half twice.
I need the structure of WW to really lose the weight. I already got a peanuts craving and gave in to it this afternoon.
Otherwise, I am losing about a pound a week. First time I did WW I lost two a week, but this time I am heavier. I had a love affair last year with peanut butter and lemon meringue pies.
well your peanuts are much better than my trip thru mcdonalds drivethru for supper last night
which at least i did on my way home from the gym after 40mins. of eliptical cardio. sigh. great that you got out for a nice brisk walk!!! woo hoo!!! go rabbitpam!!!
i’ve been anti-gym up until now figuring… why spend money for a gym when i can exercise on my own (walk / run outside… lift weights at home…) especially in the good weather. plus they can be cult-like if you ever want to leave. i’ve been snobby and stubborn about this for a very long time. but i’ve been hearing coworkers talking about their plans to goto the gym after work since i started on here and my health has begun to suffer from the weight i’ve put on. when my doctor suggested a gym membership that was the last push i needed. good thing too. turns out i LOVE going! and if i do miss a day it’s like throwing away $1.80 which turns out is a great motivator since i’m pretty cheap! lol
