  So a week ago I got this face wax stuff.   Having never really used it in 20 years. And back then it just didn’t work. And only once… Well……tonite a week after purchasing I got the nerve    Hubby is out right now
  
  Read the directions and found I didn’t remember the ready stick last time. Was glad about finding that out. OR I don’t remember 20 years ago that well. lol
  
  So…… on the stuff went.   My face is fuzzy like baby fuzz. No stiff hair or anything. certain meds do that.   Not wanting to get my eyebrows I slopped the stuff on. well…. unfortunately I got a big clump in the middle of my eyebrow.
  
  After taking a deep breath and pulling    wow ouch    deep breath pull OUCH and so on.    Til finally no more left but the eyebrow.   I tried to pick it out . No go..   So   I eventually gave up and pulled.    OUCH.
  
  Now I see in the mirror   an eyebrow with the middle missing.   rofl   lol     Now there is this patch of wax still left right next to the brow that lost it’s hair.   Heck with pulling it I go the scissors and cut the piece out. So it is shorter least I got some hair left on that spot Right?
  
  So now   when I go out I am gona be so    Gosh I hope no one notices   YEah right like thats gona happen. It is very noticeable. Plus it is gona take 12 weeks yes folks the directions says 12 weeks    like this
  
  Funny thing you know cuz some guy we used to know years ago said he got drunk and passed out. HE woke up and someone had shaved off his eyebrows.   I was wondering what that looked like for they grew in b4 we knew him.   Well guess I know now what missing a patch looks like.
  
  I guess I could say with my meds I sleep very sound and someone shaved off a part of it?

  yeah bt, get some eyeshadow that is the color of your brows and cover the spot!

  Oh BT! Well you’ll just have to tell people it’s a new fashion. “Accent brows” or something…maybe that should be absent brows! Or just keep some shades on. Tell people it helps your sensitive eyes.
  
  In future, if you get stuck like that again, maybe a hot wash cloth on the wax will help get it off without taking the brow with it.

  Oh nooooooooo! i was thinking about trying wax on my Sasquatch eyebrows, but I think you’ve scared me off of it!

  The brown eyeliner works great. Unless someone is up close you can’t tell.
  
  My mom told me to put some vaseline next time where I don’t want the was. Just got done scraping it off the counters and floor too.

  Awww I’m sorry about your missing eyebrow, BT… but that was funny!
  
  I get my eyebrows threaded. I can’t thread my own eyebrows, though I know some people can… Threading is (I think) an Indian practice. They use some thread like you would use to sew a button on a shirt, and by holding it in a specific way, they can twist the thread around a hair and pull it out. I have to be honest… it hurts like all get out, but it’s fairly fast, does less damage to the skin than waxing (great for people with sensitive skin) and works so well! And it’s more precise, so you end up with a much cleaner line than with waxing. I think threading is still less mainstream than waxing, so you may have a hard time finding a place near you, but I definitely recommend it!
