Now, since I’ve come to the conclusion that a NIC setup is way to big for my room, I did some searching.

        I found things like these:

        http://www.zooplus.com/shop/rodents/cages/rabbit_cage/126774

Any ideas? I’m pretty sure I could get this. It’s basically like her cage now, stacked up 3/2 times.

If your bunny is a climber, it looks nice. I am very surprised to find that Sammy will not jump onto anything anymore, so be sure there are ramp options that give enough room to have litter boxes and sleeping space around them.

Looking at the reviews and the pictures I am sorry to say but the cage sounds like and looks like it is made for smaller animals such as rats and ferrets and maybe guinea pigs. People with rabbits said that it did not support their rabbits weight.

Why would a NIC setup be too big for your room? You could just make it a small one like one by two, or two by two, or one by three grids. That wouldn’t be too big. Also NIC is cheaper and I think they are better just because you make it, so you control how stable it is and the design to fit your room. Also remember that you do not have to make it a rectangle, you could make it a L shape or whatever shape fits your room best. You could make it a L shape and put it in the corner of your room. I have my rabbits living in my room and The NIC cage doesn’t take up that much space. It is the pen that has taken over my room, but I don’t mind.

Oh and thank you RabbitPam – I was too lazy to paste both the things

It really looks like it’s for much smaller animals. Maybe a nethie or a holland lop, but your girl is pretty big.

I would do the NIC, just make it a manageable size. I think 1×3 or 2×3 for the base would be good. Just remember that bunnies need at least 4’x2′ of space to move around in – not counting levels. So as long as your base is about 4’x2′ you can build it up as high as you want.

That looks way too expensive for very little space… and your girl is a large rabbit (isn’t she about 8-10 pounds?) I would try to make a NIC condo with multiple levels so you can configure it to the space you have available.

No, those don’t look secure. I don’t think that they are appropriate – also it looks as if they are only available somewhere in Europe as well as the currency is in Euro’s.

I have seen these stacked cages in a store, I thought they were for guinea pigs.

I assume now that your subject line referred to the price. (1 euro = 1.35 US $!) “Woahhh” indeed. Typical marchioro… too small and too expensive.
The images that you linked to show a .de domain — are you in Germany? I wonder if you can get wire grids on ebay; many equal-sized grids will work.
