My Yuki will go out of his way to tease, chase, and generally terrorize any cat he encounters. And he encounters quite a few. However, Yuki just got nuetered 2 days ago, so hormones probably have alot to do with it. Kisa, my female, is mildly curious, but lets Yuki “take care” of any cats that bother her. When I first brought her home, my foster cat Shiloh took a swipe at her. Yuki periodically charged her after that. Shiloh never touched Kisa again. So I’m just curious about how YOUR buns react to cats? Anybun else have it in for Fluffy?

I’m fairly sure Monkey would attack any cat she sees, but then again.. she attacks anything she doesnt like, period… lol. My little psycho bunny Moose would likely be very shy at first, then just chill and flop like usual.

Only Karl has been around my cat so far (my cat is temporarily living somewhere else until we move) and my parents’ 3 cats…and he was being a good boy. He did annoy them because he kept wanting to sniff their tails, which they did not like, so whenever they tried to sleep, he would run up to them and sniff them, and they would get annoyed and leave.

I’m a bit more concerned how Molly will be around cats…she is not always the most gentle and welcoming bunny in the world.

My cats come into my room and onto the cat tree or bed so the cat/bunny interaction is limited. Eclipse (avatar) does like to nip one of the chihuahuas if I am too slow in feeding her at night. As the chihuahua in question doesn’t have many teeth left (she’s 10), it is more amusing than anything. Especially because Eclipse just looks at her like she has two heads.

Dexter couldn’t care less, sometimes he just sits there and sometimes he follows my cat are. He is a really mellow and friendly bun. My cat is a kitten still so she pretty much bugs him all the time lol

Willie is good with them. We have two cats. One of them doesn’t mind Willie and will even sleep and groom  him. The other has no use for willie and is convinced Willie is some sort of alien that she wants nothing to do with. Willie will come running over happy to see her and she will swat at him and he turns around, runs back and then does a double take trying to figure out what the heck happened. Alley (the cat who doesn’t care for him) is nice about it, just gently tells him in her own way that she is not interested in pursuing a chat I guess! lol

Well I don’t know how mine react to cats but Fern absolutely loves one of my dogs, whenever I put him in their pen she binky’s, it’s so funny. Thistle is a bit unsure of my dog, but he is starting to become more curious!

My cats do not trust my bunnies very much- we got Cotton when she was young and she used to cuddle and sleep with them- but as hormones kicked in before she could be spayed- she would demand a grooming- and the sleeping cat would NOT groom her as they were napping- so she would nip them in the belly area.  So the avoid her or ignore her now.

And all 3 if they jump on the couch for treats at night when they are out- we usually have a bowl of cut up craisins- if there is a cat on the couch too- they will walk and stand on the cat- not even acknowledging the cat is there really.  And the cat can be meowing and hollering in protest of the violation of personal space- but the rabbits could care less.  Griffin does seem to be more careful- but Cotton and Schroeder practically dance on the cats- so we have to watch one cat in particular that has front claws to make sure there are no bunny injuries- and I don’t blame the cat- he is ticked off, expressing it, and the bunnies don’t care.  So we try to keep them off the cat by moving the treat bowl to move where the bunny wants to be.

Hi our cats love the rabbits and the rabbits love the cats. They love to play and chase eachother around the apartment. If they are annoyed they will grunt to say back up and sometimes will charge after them.

Samantha treats cats with a little A-1 Sauce and a nice bottle of Chianti. Pfffffffffttttttt.

(I’m sorry. It just popped into my head. I have to learn to have an unexpressed thought.)
