When we first got our rabbit, I got a size (flemish/californian cross) that would hopefully not be a size that my cats would not always look at for their next meal..lol.  Guess I have no worries. I thought this was so funny, I had to share.

hehe… my kitties (obviously) like my buns.. and monkey most cats dont want to eat a house pet.. my cats bring in birds that are as big as they are (no seriously last summer honey the small kitty caught a hawk, no idea how she did it) and attack wild rabbits but they wont touch the bunnies…

Ohhh I dont know about that… my mom’s cat attacks anything on 4 legs thats nearby.. including the otehr cat. And her 2 cats are both big big mousers. Not all cats are thrilled with the idea of living with buns.

Bren, this is very sweet. Even though many cats get along with house rabbits, not all are this much into them!

one of my buns love mocha he always follows him around licks him plays with him. then in the summer he goes outside and caches at least one or two rodents sometimes wild rabbits but all of my cat (and we have five) would never think of killing my bunnys.

It was suggested by the HRS that I try to bond Maryann to a cat – some animal that wouldn’t stand for her gruff. Just what I thought she needed, something with very sharp fangs and claws to fight back…
