        I’m bAAAack!

        LOL.

Is there any preventative foods or items I can give Bo to keep him healthy in the long run?  I’ve seen some post about papaya tablet and there was another one acidophillus tablets….

It’s not proven that papaya tablets will prevent hair blockages… most of us use them but really more as a treat, just one or two daily.

Probably the best preventative thing you can do is follow the diet guidelines closely… hay, hay, hay, hay, and MORE HAY!!! Veggies, the right ones, fed daily, will help with hydration. Pellets in limited amounts starting at about 6 months…

Neutering is going to be important for his happiness (maybe not at first… lol!) but as a house rabbit, he does not need those hormones surging thru his little body. Daily exercise is going to make him happy and keep him from getting bored.

I agree with Beka. As for acidophilius tablets, I just use those as treats.

Ok thanks guys. Bo was kinda confirmed as a ‘he’ but the vet and tech who normally sexes rabbits didn’t find testicles. But from what I have read that isn’t uncommon. So he has an appointment for the 11th for the big snip.

Other than that not much came up today. Good health, clean ears, was really calm with the vet but when i attempt to pick him up (to put him in his cage for the night) he struggles a bit.

              All and all, good day.
