  This has been driving me absolutely nuts. My Bun kicks out his litter and poop. He has a general littler pan. It fits on the bottom shelf of my bookshelf. He goes to the bathroom, and when he’s done he does a routine where he hops out in a way that his poop and litter go flying. he also very occasionally will dig in his box causing poop to get everywhere. I have to vaccuum the poop pretty often. That involves catching my bun, sequestering him in a box in the bathroom, vacuuming, and bring him back only to have him poop right away and spray more poop and litter.
  
  Is there any kind of small littler box with a lid you can recommend? or any other ideas? I couldn’t find anything small enough at the pet store. His territory is mostly my bedroom, so I don’t have much space for a full cat sized box. ( I tried a cat one with a lid, and it was huge! it took up a giant chunk of the room, where he could be playing. Plus, they’re so expensive!)

  I use a regular rubbermaid dishtub as a litterbox and when my bun started digging I added one of those cookie-cooling grates that you see at the hardware store for a couple of bucks. Your bun might still kick out some poop but it will help with the digging. Otherwise, get a Dustbuster (I swear the person who invented it must have had bunnies!) – it’s perfect for picking up those stray cocoal puffs!

  They have the ones with the sides that come up at all kinds of stores. I’m not sure about the size, but the one I got is a bit larger. It was pretty cheap though, I got it for about $7 at a walgreens. I’ve seen them at Target, Petsmart, Biggs, Kmart, etc. Ooh, I know, try shopping around online and see if you can find anyone that is carrying them. I’ll look too and let you know if I find anything.

  This is the kind I’m talking about. I don’t know if the size will work for you, but it is the best for this problem! At least, from my exp.

  That one looks good. the sides look high enough that he might not kick out his litter. Do you think that would still be a problem?

  You can put a grid on the bottom so that his feet won’t be touching the litter and he won’t be able to dig. Some people use a cooling rack (like you would use for cookies) and others use these grid things made for fluorescent lights that you can cut to fit in your litter box.

  Oops. I didn’t mean to double post. I’ve figured it out! I’m getting a nightstand litter box. I’ve been needing a night stand. So, now for the price of one i’ll get two. Here is an example: http://www.amazon.com/HomeZone-Kitty-Litter-House-Espresso/dp/B002CML17A/ref=pd_sim_k_5
  
  Amazon also has $101 and $119 verisons. Walmart has a similar one for $50. (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11969264) But I don’t and won’t shop at walmart, so that’s out. I’m looking into prices. I don’t want to pay too much money, but since it’s for both, and me and Pixel can both use it, I might spend a *little* more.
  
  I wish I’d known these existed before! Now I don’t have to buy both! I hunt for prices and see what I can come up with.

  I think the litter box I found was rubber at the top, but the one I bough myself is hard plastic. It has been the best b/c she can’t kick the litter out! She just pushes it to the sides, but none gets out. I had the same problem that you are having.
  
  But those night stand ones look really cool!
