Hi again,  Sorry, trying to get this right.  So where is everyone keeping their rabbit?  Right now hes in the bed room but not sure if thats secluding him or not.  Could keep in kitchen but does get a little noisy in there and a little warm.   So what do you think?

Where mine are depend on the weather/time of year.
At the moment all eight are permanently indoors due to it being winter. I can’t stand rabbits being out in the cold weather like this; they’re twice as hard to care for (frozen water bottles are 10x worse than empty ones DX) so they’re permanently indoors from October till March. Than from April to October they venture in and out of the house based on weather; I have a dog kennel in my backyard right outside my living room window the size of a small bedroom (8′ by 10′) that I bunny-proofed last year and they LOVE running around in it all day lol.

But right now six (Sashimi, Miso, Pepper, Poptart, Glaze, and Pikanya) are in their own room (it’s a sun/green room) that’s adjacent to my kitchen/dining room. Sashimi, Pepper, Poptart, and used-to-be Miso, live in one of those kiddy pools you could buy as walmart for $15, and Glaze, Pikanya, and Miso have NIC/Dog crate combination cages. Tamago and Onigiri are in my dining room due to both having the snuffles. I visit them a lot during the day, so I don’t feel they’re very secluded at all. Last night I spent some time trying to rebond Miso and Sashimi, and than spent a couple of hours playing with Glaze, Oni, and Tamago individually (I need to bunny proof it more for Pikanya x_x She’s finds holes that my adult buns can’t fit in then I gotta take part the room to pull her out LOL).

This year I have plans to build a pen that I move all over my yard so they can help me mow it LOL
They love grazing but I have to move the pen almost hourly otherwise they’ll stop munching.

But anyway, I don’t see a problem with the kitchen? He’ll adjust to the noise, and as long as it’s not sweltering heat I think he’ll be fine. The only time it ever gets super warm in my kitchen is when we cook, and that’s only a few times a week for me for like a hour or two. My kitchen is too small for rabbit cages though, which is why Oni and Tamago are in my dining room instead and they don’t mind the heat or the noises LOL In fact if I’m cooking Tamago gets mad that I won’t let him out; he doesn’t quite understand that tripping over him while say carrying a pot of boiling water is not in his favor ._.

If you feel he’s being secluded, it might be best to move him. I found out like three years ago (after I moved out of my parent’s house LOL) that I have the classic ”‘out of sight, out of mind” complex so my pets have to be kept in areas that I’m around lot otherwise they don’t get spoiled, just basic care and I didn’t get them for that – spoiling them is half the fun!

oh goodie. I wrote another novel ._.

My 2 are in what is supposed to be the dining “room”. The kitchen, living rooma nd dining room are actually all one big room, just divided into areas by a little counter. They have the run of the apartment seperatley during the day, and in their pens the rest of the time

My guy has a cage in the dining room. Our place is pretty open though, so the dining room, kitchen, and living room are more or less one large room with half walls to divide them. The dining room keeps his cage out of the way, but keeps him close enough to the living room that he can come out and see us.

eta: Sounds like my house is set up exactly like MBs!

It really depends on your bunny. If the bedroom is working for him – that’s fine. I don’t think it’s too secluded. Kitchens can work to but do be aware some rabbits are really sensitive to cooking smells, and noises. My own buck starts thumping and get’s scared sometimes from these things.

Yes, Monkey is NOT happy when I cook. I use it as an excuse not to lol! I really really dislike cooking… I’d much rather have someone else cook for me

                    lol monkey
Hershey currantly sleeps in my little sisters room….
when we first got her she stayed in the living room, then during the summer and when we got another bunny.. they stayed outside in seperate pens. now that we only have hershey.. again, and since its winter she stayes in my little sisters room i dont want to leave her outside all winter by herself.. especially with my little sister and i going to scholl, she probably would have frozen water all day… and since its cold we would avoid going outside and… that just wouldnt be good for the bunny… she is somewhat secluded being in my little sisters room but for the moment there is nowhere else to put her, the plants that we bring inside for the winter took her spot in the liveing room.. i wish we could bring her down but it is just not possible. in the summer she will go outside again.
