I’m sur ethis has been covered 3 million times, but I’m having trouble sorting through it all and finding what I need. So please pardon the redundancy

Little Man (or Fuzz, as I have been calling him more and more) always has a kind hard tummy. This is just gas, right? I recently switched him to better food to try and remedy the problem, but it doesn’t seem to have changed it. He seems to feel fine, but I wonder if he could be better without the tummy issue.

        any thoughts?

a check up on the vet? what sort of a tummy? chubby or…not? Buttons goes to a pet shop/Bunny vet/Bunny border/Bunny Breeder shop ‘the rabbit shop’ (we got her there) and the vet said buttons my lop was on the large side. turns out i had been feeding to much pellets! oops… I reduced her food down to a third of a cup of mixed feed. (dried grass, dried veggies & fruit, SMALL amount of pellets, etc.) she gets regular run-arounds, she’s not to bad, just a tiny bit chubby.

I think it warrants a check up at the vets, especially if it’s a change. Had you taken him for a baseline exam? It’s always a good idea so the vet can determine what’s normal for him, so when something changes there’s a basis of comparison. I would want to have him looked at just in case the hardness is due to something that needs immediate treatment.

Yes-a checkup is a good idea just in case
