im just curious, i have a dominant and a submissive bunny (both male). if i was to ever get another bunny would i get a submissive bunny? would i have issue with 2 submissive bunnies bonding bc they have to figure out who is the more dominant out of the 2? also i have 2 males right now so would i be better off getting a spayed female or is it possible to bond another male? one day i think i may get a flemmish giant when i have a bigger place. does it make a difference who is the biggest bunny? like, could a dwarf possibly be dominant over a flemmie? thanks!

From their natures, it is possible that a dwarf would be dominant over a flemmie, since the big guys tend to be much more laid back. (Though it can be different with each bunny’s nature regardless of size.)

Bonding a trio is a bit complicated. I would suggest you read the bonding section here, and read others’ experience to get a sense of how it works. You could use the Search button above and keyword trio to see if any directly related posts pop up as well.

Several have tried getting a second pair, rather than bonding a third, so that all 4 bunnies have their special companion. You might consider rescuing a bonded flemmie with his partner. (Possibly hard to find, though.)

Sometimes the hierarchies shift when rabbits are introduced to another, a formerly dominant bun may meet one that is more dominant and thus end up submissive. Trios and herds take time to bond but most rabbits have it in them to bond, with time, and it is more a matter of your patience than of their personalities.
