        store.everythingreptileinc.com/2081.html

I don’t like to advertise a store site, but I have a huge list of sites saved to my Favorites/Bookmarks for Rabbits, subdivided into Products (so not confused with advice and medical sites) so if I see something I may like I can find it again. I went on this site where they had an xpen that attaches directly to the cage (good idea)

and while there I spotted this colapsible xpen. It seems to work the way my laundry basket works.

Wondering if bunnies would chew an escape hole in the first 5 minutes. Can’t seem to get details (OK, too lazy to peruse at the moment) on what it’s made of.

What do you guys think? Is this strictly a dog/cat item? I don’t go outside, but am thinking an indoor xpen that can be set up and taken down.

I think it totally depends on the bunny. I really don’t think Otto would ever chew a hole in it, but I can imagine some bunnies would escape in no time.

I would love something like that for traveling! We take his metal xpen, but it’s big and heavy and kind of a pain.

I agree with Elrohwen… I could see something like that for the convenience of traveling… but for the purpose of regular use, I would go with a more durable, cleanable, and lasting metal xpen.

we were looking at something like that before we got our xpen but i thought my bunny’s might chew right through it. cuz Lulu can chew through a cardboard box in a day.

I not only have chewing bunnies, I have diggers too. They would probably make short work of that, even if it is a strong mesh webbing like what is used for toddlers and such.
I remember thinking when K&K got her ‘playpen’ for Chuck & Noot, that I was wondering how long it would take for them to make a jailbreak. ^_^ But apparently they aren’t as naughty as my bunnies.
I have 3 of those “Superyard” plastic expandable pens for my bunnies. You find them in the child aisle of your supermarket. They run about $75 though, so kind of cost prohibitive. But I like the fact that when I DID find some chewed spots, I knew there was no way they were getting out of it easily.
Unless of course, Pip does one of her Olympic level popcorn binkies…she almost cleared the side that day, luckily she only went straight up and down and wasn’t near the edge. 0_o
