        Hello Chatters,

I’ve been doing a lot of research to determine the breed of my bunny. I know its a blue eyed rabbit but not sure of its specific breed. Then it hit meh  he may be mixed. As you can see from the pictures he’s white with another color flow going on too.

Also, I’m potty training him, the second week was a success but still has an issue with him popping on the carpet. I’m just thankful he urine’s in the litter box.

        Thanks in advance,

        BunnyRabbit

Looks like a Dutch to me. Dutch rabbits can come with blue eyes also. Welcome!

Yup, Dutch. He looks a little fluffier than normal but that could be either the camera or a shed coming on. Dutches are one of the breeds that tend to have blue eyes more often.  Oh, and don’t worry about the poops too much, they’ll begin to slow down and all but stop in a couple of months.  He just needsta make the place his.  Once he feels secure in it, he’ll stop.

teh coloring is definitely dutch.   Dutch carry the vienna gene    = blue eyes              like my Cotton Boo.

Your little bun sure looks cute too.   I like his markings on his head.    The pooping yes it will calm down give him time.  He may be marking.  Also a young baby bunny tends to poop more frequently than an adult since their metabolisms are very fast.

The scattered poops are marking.   It will calm down

                    He’s a cutie! (a dutch cutie)
Sometimes a little one needs an outside litter pan available in a room they play in because it’s hard for them to get back to the litter box just to poop.
You can try a second litter pan on the carpet and reward him if he goes in it.
