Ode to my Macbook.
You were a good laptop-cool and white with an apple on you. You had a wonderful wireless internet drive that would find free internet when I was in school and needed it. Cool programs and neato photostuff. You even ran normal Windows so I could play ZooTycoon2.
And then you started to get old. Simple things-running slower and needing to be rebooted more often.
Your battery blew and we were past the recall date on them. But we kept you running with your cord, and although times were tough since your cord was magnetic and would pop out and shut you down with a jolt-we made it through.
You surprised us all when you took an entire glass of coke but kept running.
In an effort to help your longevity Dave wiped your hard drive and reinstalled everything. You were running again almost like new. But you surprised us all again tonight when you ‘blue screened’ and crashed. There was nothing that could be done-you could not be saved.
RIP Macbook.

OH wow I am not the only one with weird nasty computers
Yes my pink laptop. Dear Pinky I was thinking of it when Monkey bun I believe it was wrote about the problem with their computer. Now we have K&K too.
OH dear. It is like losing an arm I know. I hope mine straightens out when I get it back. Hope I can fix it.
Oh there is a computer guy from Harris who supplies Nasa and military. We discussed my pinky. He did say it is good to start all over every 2 years with a comp. Save everything restore it to date you got it and start over. I hope that works with this thing. Ooof if not 200 to fix it.
I mean I like Pinky it must have been something I did to make it not work right tho. I must have changed a setting I can’t find to fix or something.
Hey since they are acting up and it is near xmas maybe…. a hint for xmas a new computer.
by the way K&K you are a lot more patient than I am with your darling computer. I have restrained myself so many times from throwing it at the wall or punching something. Like the computer.
Next time I get that upset I am punching the wall instead. I can’t be spending 200 to fix it every time I get mad at it. 
OH I have to make sure there are no pictures hanging on the wall I punch
My neighbor has a temper like that too. Her remote wouldn’t work right and she threw it agianst the wall after being frustrated with it.K&K enjoy your new computer.

You assume LOL My parent’s computer room is in a loft that overlooks the rooms below…wayyy too many times I’ve had to restrain myself from just tossing the computer over the railing LMAO!!
I long for the days of AI when the computer will hear when I yell at it and get hurt feelings!
