My young rabbit is doing that as well. No issues with urine, but poops have issues sometimes. I thought it was because he was still marking his cage as his and making sure it was his. That’s from what I have gathered about poops. Let’s sit back and see what others have to say. How old is your rabbit? Spay/Neutered?

Mine is roughly the same age, but he isn’t neutered yet. I am guessing it will improve with age? Since it’s not a urine issue (thank goodness)

Hey Moonlightbunny! Glad you joined! (I am the one from Yahoo) I hope you find lots of good info on this site!

Is the pooping outside the litterbox a lot? My bunnies poop outside the litterbox a bit, but it is not a tremendous amount. It is not a problem for me because lucky for me bunny poop is dry and not smelly so I can just easily pick it up and throw it in the direction of the litterbox.

It probably is just hormonal, when was she spayed? Sometimes the hormones take a while to die down after a spay/neuter.
