  You may be expecting the title of this to be followed by “I’m getting another rabbit!!!!!!!!”, but it’s not going to be….maybe later haha.
  BUT!!! It’s almost BETTER than that!!!
  
  My mom gave me permission today to foster bunnies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  
  I oh so casssuuaallly brought up how I wished I could foster rabbits, but can’t find space to put another bunny without them being in sight and touch of Dallas and Duncan, and I wouldn’t want to risk fighting OR bonding(since then bun couldn’t leave home…okay I wouldn’t dislike that idea, but you know what I mean!) and she asked a little about what fostering would do for them differently than just being in the shelter, which I hurried to explain how it gets them used to being in a home environment, around other animals like cats and dogs, normal house noises, people coming and going, etc. etc.
  She liked that it did so much for them and said, without any prodding from me, “well, now that you are in that room *points across living room* we have the entire upstairs free. You could always put them up there. Then they’d be able to get used to everything in a house without having to worry about bonding, or fighting, or anything like that. I’d let you do that. It’d be a nice thing to do for them”
  
  Then we carried on about where to look, etc.
  I’m going to contact shelters in Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, El Paso and other areas like that, in a little while.

  Welcome back btw. I was having a giggle reading your other thread about a possible 3rd…Didn’t you always go looking every time a trip to town was scheduled?

  You have a really cool mom. She sounds like me! (pats on my back and her back) This will be a true adventure for you and also you will get information by observing and taking care of those foster bunnies.

  Congratulations! You are very fortunate to have a great mom and the future fosters will be very fortunate to have you! I wish I could foster rabbits but just can’t do so at this time. Thank you for helping the little ones!

  D&D’s Mom was already cool in my eyes. She performed a modified heimlich manoeuvre on one of the bunnies once! But just in case she starts to regret giving permission down the track….maybe just point out our admiration for her again.

  Fostering is wonderful-although you have to part with the animal when adopted-you get to enjoy them, help them, and get to have so many!! It’s wonderful-I’m sooo excited for you!
  
  Get camera batteries-we’re going to need many pics of any bun who comes to you! *gets poking stick from monkeybun* :p

  OH wow thats absolutely great. Wish my Mom was more like that.
  
  However I am happy that I can bring my buns when we go visit. OR if I ever gasp move there
