my girl is 9 months come november and shes still on alfalfa-based pellets.  its a brand designed for juvenile rabbits 0-12 months old.  we’ve always introduced her to greens and hay pretty early (not TOO early, just early enough so she wouldn’t be snobby about trying something new).  anyways, when is a good time to start transitioning her to timothy adult pellets?  i usually get my rabbit stuff from petco or petsmart because i’m always working when the hrs is open here and am unable to go.  can someone please suggest a good time to start this and what is the better brands.

note: she is a super healthy weight right now.  not heavy or big or fat.  i think shes also pretty much fully grown for a girl.  <--- harlequinn/ netherland dwarf mix.

        thanks bunches.

You would be fine to start now. Petsmart carries the Oxbow brand too so you can get that there. There are instructions listed on the bag on how to transition the pellets as well.
