I got a fleece bed called a bunny bed, online for my bunny, Buddie. At first, he only slept on it a few times but he’s in a large 2×6 foot 30″ high pen now and I got him a cat tunnel that’s nylon lined with fleece. He loves to sleep, AND groom, AND munch romaine lettuce in that. But when I put his bunny bed on the bottom of the tunnel, he flopped on his side on it and didn’t seem to want to come out, he was so comfy in that. The sides of the tunnel elevated his head so gave him the equivalent of a pillow. As well, the oval-shaped bunny bed has bumpers around the edges and I’m watching to see if he ever puts his head on those as a pillow. So he now has his equivalent of a person’s luxury bed with comforter. And he doesn’t chew it either. Best bunny bed I could find for him. For those whose bunnies are in cages, the cat tunnel might be too bulky for the cage. But Buddie dozes away the afternoons in his bunny bed tunnel and gives a good yawn when and if, he finally emerges from it. I had gotten a snuggle-nest bed available in the UK but it had fur stitched or glued on the side of the plush in the shape of a paw print and Buddie became obsessed with chewing off the fur so I removed it. But no such problems with the wonderfully cosy bunny bed tunnel. If I were smaller, I might be tempted to try sleeping in it myself! Kay Skvorc, San Francisco
