Lily goes in her House at night still, because i think its a bit safer where she’s so small still, and im not sure what she’d get up too left to her own devices all night!!

Anyway, she goes in with no problem, i call her over with some parsely and she hops in.

But late at night she has started grabbing the bars and shaking them REALLY loudly!!! enough to wake the dead!

shes obviously ‘asking’ to come out, but is there anyway i can discourage her from doing this?

she has toys in there, food, hay, chew sticks, i think she’s turning into a diva!!!

Monkey quiets down if I drape a towel over the front of her cage. Its the only thing that stops her from shaking and chewing the bars when shes locked in.

also will she ever stop nipping my back??? she seems to feel the urge to do the ‘scratch and nip’ on me, and it hurts!! little razor teeth lol!
she’s so good now with everything like toilet and stuff, just wish she’d be quiet at night and stop nipping me!

Is she spayed yet? She might be playing “Dominant Bunny” with you.

Sounds like a teenage bunny Onc she’s spayed the aggression will either stop or really cool down

For night noise-do like Monkey suggested-put a towel over at night. And keep her up during the day-lights on, and either a TV or radio and lots of playtime. They are naturally awake early morning late evening, but can easily adjust to your schedule

How about bribery? I throw veggies in Bunner’s room when he’s being particularly persistent.

Shes not spayed yet, not quite old enough, but will be in a month or two.

She dosnt bite, its just digging your clothes and then nips them! think shes trying to eat them, but it dosnt half hurt

and i feel a little guilty if she does it to my daughter, although it has taught her that Lily DOES have teeth which is never a bad thing.

been putting the towel over when she goes in and she hasnt done it, so hopefully that will keep working!

Shes really good at going in now too, it used to take me ages to tempt her in…but now i just shout ‘whats this!!!!! PARSLEY!!!’

                      and she shoots in LOL.

my monkey, whenever she gets let out, has to run behind me or the hubby and stand there with her paws on us to let us know she is Queen Bunny before going and doing anything. No humping, she just stands there behind us, pawns up on us. Silly girl. The digging and nipping is probably just Lily saying she is your Queen too. Buns are silly

What age is a bunny considered a teenager? We adopted our male bunny about 5 weeks ago. We just got him neutered last week (a week ago today). He still humps things, although I’m told this subsides in a month or so, and still runs up to you and either bites your side or arm, or feet. Will this subside soon too? We’re not sure how old he is, but if you think this is teenager attitude, how old is that? He’s definitely on the younger side, but I don’t think he’s a baby.
