  Well, when my husband was out of town, Remy got lonely at night (Stan stays up later than I do, so Remy usually has him as company). He kept me up for HOURS licking and digging and head-butting and even PEEING to get attention!
  
  So we decided it was time for a friend…

  At first, Remy was like WHOA WHAT IS THAT? Then, this morning we had a “jailbreak” where Momo somehow escaped the xpen and was found by Remy sleeping in a corner. I was about to freak out, like ZOMG non-neutral area!! Impromptu date! Red alert! Red alert!
  
  But then he just sniffed her all over, and she sniffed him all over, and they actually started licking each other!
  
  I almost fainted….

  I’m just gaga for her! But I’ve also been making sure that Remy knows he’s still ruler of the roost. He’s been trying to assert his control by jumping on my shoulders and getting up on his haunches and just trying to be taller than everything else, and licking! licking! licking me, like STILL MY MOMMY! MINE!
  
  So he’s been getting tons of extra kisses and rubs and snuggles and hugs and ah! I love bunnies!

  I think it’s probably because he’s really good-natured and she’s young enough to get along with most anyone.
  
  Phew! I was actually really worried after reading up about bonding on my favorite bunny site!

  I’m tellin ya…. she’s pretty feisty. I’ve been letting them run free every evening, and in between nosing each other and a little grooming, they chase *each other* around. Remy is being pretty mellow about the whole thing, as if he has a spazzy baby sister and has taken on a new level of stoicism. He’s like…. *geez* and runs to me for some nice, calm snuggles when she gets too goofy.
  
  But she is a binky FANATIC. She discovered the rug yesterday. It was a binky extravaganza. Totally delightful to watch.

  She doesnt look like she is a baby. She looks full grown- your camera must exagerate (sp?) her size. lol
  
  But they are a very cute match. Cooper and Pookie were an instabond. Course he was a horny devil and pookie had to run and hide a while during bonding sessions but really they were instantly buddies. Heck, they both would go visit thru the cage when I brought him home from the shelter….

  Yeah, my friend said the same thing. She is smaller than he is, but not by a whole lot. Remy was *way* smaller when he was that age. I wonder if she’ll be a big mini!
