  Seems like everyone’s taking a turn with GI issues these days. Last night I fed Otto his lettuce and a small sprinkle of pellets. He ate the pellets right away, but when we came down in the morning he hadn’t eaten any of his lettuce (or at least not the majority). We gave him his morning pellets and he doesn’t seem interested at all even when I tried to hand feed He was also a really slow eater yesterday and didn’t finish his breakfast until almost 5pm (usually he’s done by 11am) but I figured it was because I was home all day and he was napping far away from his cage. His litter was changed yesterday morning and he pooped a ton, but I can’t tell if there’s anything since last night.
  
  Luckily I get out of work at noon today, so I’m just hoping that he decided to eat something after I left this morning. If he hasn’t had anything I’ll definitely call the vet. I hope my little Otto is ok

  Vibes to Otto. It’s true it could be a change in routine and it’s good he’s pooping. Keep us updated.

  You may be worrying b/c there have been posts about GI stasis Try feeding him his favorite food when you get home (not too much sugar though of course) and give him some time out to run. Running and moving can help get the gut moving again, as well you can give him a tummy rub. It’s good he’s pooping. Just keep an eye and if either stop-vet time. But you may have caught it just slowing down and be able to get it going again before stasis actually occurs! (Which is good of course!) Hydration is also key-try adding some apple juice to his water to entice him to drink more

  Thanks Sarita and KK. Lately he’s acted like we’re starving him, so it was a shock to see him snub food and not eat his lettuce over night. Hopefully when I get home he’ll have polished his pellets off like usual. If he hasn’t I can see if he’ll take a little critical care too, because it can’t hurt. And I’ll definitely get him moving around!
  
  I’m a little more stressed than usual with a wedding coming up in 7 days (eep!!) so hopefully I’m making a big deal out of nothing 😉 Thanks for the support and I’ll keep you updated.

  I got home from work today and Otto has eaten some of his food. Yay! I’m going to keep watching him because he’s not eating quite as much as usual, but thankfully he doesn’t have any real GI issues. These silly bunnies can make us so nervous sometimes 😉

  I think for now you may want to cut out any treats and try to get him to eat more hay.

  I think I would cut back on the pellets before I would on the veggies – maybe increase the veggies. I would also try to wet his veggies (give him his favorites) as well.

  He’s pretty good! He seems more interested in food again and I don’t think anything’s wrong with him. Yay!
