So, Frankie has been having a digging habit at a certain part of the carpet in my room that must have crumbs under it or something. If ya’ll remember, I put stuff over there to deter him. One time when he was doing it in the middle of the night, I kept throwing my comforter on him. His response when I went back to sleep was to pee on my comforter (“yeah, well take that, mom!”).

Well, he’s done it again. But this time it was when I wasn’t even home. I was told he wasn’t locked up in my room very long, but I came home to find the leg pillow that my ‘boyfriend’ uses with a giant pee spot on it! I think it was a protest on a dirty litter box. The pilow was right in front of his cage as a digging/carpet pulling deterrent. Le sigh. Gustavo is gonna have to find a new pillow for between his knees… haha

Mine pee on that sort of thing too if I add it to their space. Don’t know why. The digging thing can sometimes be a pre-peeing thing I think. Other have mentioned grabbing a litter box when their buns have started that digging.

I can totally believe it is a punish pee – Coco has taken to that in the past two weeks as well. Looked right at me and peed on my shoe.

Could Frankie be protesting the scent on the pillow – as in “I am sorry, but this Doe is TAKEN”

Maybe he is telling your boyfriend, YOU are his? It may be a territory/dominance issue.

First night I spent over at my girlfriend’s house, her bun had hop up on my shoulder while I was sleeping and claim me as her own. I was expecting it so it wasn’t a big issue. She was a very jealous bunny.

Haha, yeah he is definitely a brat. I’m just letting him keep the danged pillow. Frankie absolutely LOVES Gustavo though, so I think it was more directed at me. Usually he will get on my bed and groom the hell out of Gustavo’s pillow.

Gah! It doesn’t happen very often, but OCCASIONALLY when Little-Bit is digging under my covers and trying to wake me up for breakfast she’ll spite-pee if I don’t get up in a manner she considers timely.

Jeez, they know how to get to us!
