Keep him warm and get him to a vet asap.

Riffy I’m a little concerned that you and your friends have all these baby rabbits and it seems like there are many incidents involving water and the baby rabbits – I don’t know, maybe it’s a coincidence with the water but I feel bad for the babies that keep getting injured and I think you need to be more careful.

You need to get your rabbits spayed and neutered as well and get vet care for all the rabbits in your care.

Your friend has had many litters that you have posted about and your friend needs to get their rabbits spayed and neutered.

As I said before your friend must get the baby to a vet period. We are not vets and we cannot help him with this…it sounds like an emergency.

If his vet is away, find another. And maybe have your friend switch to a bottle type water dispenser rather than a bowl.

Also, once this emergency is over, we would like to hear an update about your other bunny’s lip. Here’s the original thread.

You need to take the baby to a vet. Rabbits are fragile, sensitive creatures and if you even suspect something is wrong, it’s better to be safe than sorry with them, and have a vet check them out. Because they’re prey animals, they may hide their pain from you, so they could actually be in a LOT more pain than you think.

Also, Riffy, you should show this site to your friend and all the information that is available here about PROPER rabbbit care. At the very least, make sure you communicate to your friend all the valuable info the forum members are giving you about all the bunny tragedies you and your friend keep having.

It seems your friend is continually having litters of rabbits. Is she breeding them to sell them, or just because she likes having baby bunnies around, or does she not realize that males and females will reproduce and need to be kept separate if not altered? Does she have plans to spay/neuter her rabbits and their offspring?
