never noticed until after his opp (nueturing) nor have i noticed him rubbing or anything to make them bold.

he’s visiting the vet next week for check up follwong his opp (thursday) should I wait untul then or get hum seen quicker.?

also what are the reasons for his hair loss?

also he’s doing very well after opp running around in no time back to his usual self.

eating plenty of veg etc but doesnt bother with much hay although theres always plenty available.

Where do you think they are going bald?

On the outer edge? I know that usually most rabbits ears have less hair in the middle of the ear and since you have a lop when you lift them you may see more light coming through and usually in that area they aren’t as furry.

I would just have you tell your vet to take a look when you take him on Thursday. It’s not that far off.

no not outer edge its sort of central, with plenty of fur around it

You could call your vet and leave a message asking if she thinks it’s ok to wait until Thursday.
I’m wondering if any of the medications had something to do with hair loss, or if he’s scratching too hard in those places.

How silly did i feel!!! Ricoh went for his last of his vaccs and check up following his opp last week, I brought to the vets atention his ears that appear to be balding (yet they have started to grow back) the vet had a simple explanation to this
“They were shaved in order for anesetic as the ears have a large vein passing across the bottom”
a little chuckle later and were all tucked up and sorted for another 6 mnths.

Oh latest photo of RICOH having a nap

We stood staring to make sure he was still living, his snore gave it away.

yes he snore’s not very loud but only when he’s bunny flopped.
as for breed we dont know, the only info we have is a large house bunny. and weighing it at 4kg at 5 mnths old he’s certainly large.
he’s become a mad hatter and plays with the kids toys (well throws them around)
he now knows where his veggies are stored and sits looking at the cubard most of the day.(either that or he’s gaurding them)
