His majesty Cotton has decided he only wants Mountian Hay.   I had a big order come in few months ago.  It will run out end of this month or a little sooner.

So since he and Ruby absolutely refuse to eat timmy hay anymore  (5 months now) we got them a nicely compressed 2nd cut bale of alfalfa.  To hold us over til I can order more mountain in oct.  They seemed to enjoy the occassional alfalfa and oat.

Well guess what…… They are now refusing to eat alfalfa.    lol

IT is going to last a looooong time.   I have been giving them mountain hay.  Cotton was mad and was eating the newspaper  and cardboard box.  When I went to get them some more hay he followed me over and kept head butting me and standing on his little hind legs

When I put the litterboxes of fresh mountain  hay down he raced over and ate n ate.

I wish they wouldn’t decide they hate a hay all of a sudden.  Makes for much craziness on my part.

I know alfalfa isnt’ best for full time feeding but I planned on putting mountain hay in here n there til I got more.

Buns you just can’t please them.

Boy, they are picky bunnies! Hope you can find a hay they both like! Maybe you can sell the alfalfa hay?

I had a bag of Pine Pellets that a coworker gave me just after I’d switched to Aspen. I saved it for back up, but finally donated it to an adoption site. Maybe you could bring the alfalfa to a shelter for their baby bunnies.

Could you try a small bag of Orchard Grass? Cotton may be choosy because he wants softness on his sore lip.
