I’m overly obsessed with Tonks since she’s been sick. I woke up this morning to go to work and she had not eaten her pellets from last night which is odd for her. she ate all of her hay which was alot and all of her veggies. She drank water and pooped and peed too. Just wondering if anyone elses buns have ever taken longer then usual to eat their favorite food???  I’m at work now  but i’m obsessing!!!!!!

if she ate her hay, veggies, and drank water i am sure she is okay. i wouldnt over react, its good shes going potty. did you just switch brands of pellets? bunnies are very sensitive and can smell any slight difference in food. the difference could cause her to not want to eat it. i know this is a little far out, but you know all the recall pet food? is it possible the pellets were tainted? whats your brand of pellets? if its oxbow(very well trusted brand) it shouldn’t be unsafe in anyway. but maybe one of the cheaper brands( hartz, small world, etc)

If she’s pooping, eating veggies and hay, and drinking water, she’s probably fine.

It could be she decided she didn’t really want pellets that day, or the pellets could taste/smell different.
What brand of pellets do you use? Have you noticed a difference in smell, appearance, etc? Did you just buy this bag of pellets?

It’s Purina Rabbit Chow. She has been eating from this bag for a few weeks now. So has Tempe so i’m don’t think it’s the food. I guess there could be alot of reasons why she didn’t eat them this time. Usually it’s what she eats first and you know anytime they do anything out of their routine I freak. Especially since she’s been sick. But since she’s eating everything else that is good. She is still getting penicillin shots and liquid antibiotics so maybe it caught up with her and her appetite is off. I’m extra antsy because i’m leaving for florida in 5 days! It really helps having support here!!! thanks!

My Monkey hasn’t been eating many of her pellets since we started her eye drops. I’m not too worried tho, as she still goes bonkers over her veggies and has been eating hay like its going out of style. Silly bun

gizmo doesn’t always eat his pellets, sometimes he plays with them, or he will ignore them.

sometimes he goes crazy for them. depends on how much of his other good stuff he ate.

the last few days he ignored his pellets and i had to refill his hay about 4 times a day.

he probably just gets bored of the same thing all the time.

strange. buttons isn’t so hot on his pellets either(for the past few months). he nibbles them but thats it. and all the sudden the anti-hay bunny is obsessed with it.  crazy. he loves his veggies and fruits… always and forever
