Well tonight i was laying in Sweet Pea’s room (rabbit) like i do every night and i notice that he kept running back in forth by my head. I didn’t think anything of it until… his little paws were on the back of my hair and he was doing a little humping move on my head. So my question is, will he be ok until i can get him fixed? I won’t have the money for another month or so. Thank you

How old is he right now? My first boy got to the point I couldnt stick my hand in the cage without him latching on to me, I got too sick of it!

He’s around 5 months. But will everything go back to normal after he’s fixed? Even if he gets mean?

It’s all just hormones right now, he should settle after he’s fixed.

Forgive me-I’m cracking up! That’s hilarious!! Usually they hump feet, but you must have very nice hair or something hehe

Definitley horomones, the neuter will make him a lot less ‘amorous’

Yeah I thought it was funny also. When i told my husband he was cracking up. I have long hair (mid back) and when I realized what he was doing and moved my head back and forth he went for a ride lol

Lol, that is a funny story!! I have a male rabbit too, he is an English Spot. He is 3. When he was around a year old, he was chasing our cat and humping him. (Strange site to behold!!) So I had him neutered and he is still the sweetest bunny ever, he still gives me and my boyfriend kisses and loves to be pet. He still does chase the cat, but his humping has stopped, thank goodness. I had him neutered 2 years ago and he is better than ever, he even litter trained himself, he picked his spot in his cage and we put the box there and he rarely has an accident outside of his cage. I am sure he will hump Bella, who we decided to get as a future cage mate for him. He just loves our cat so much, that we are going to SLOWLY introduce them and see what happens, once Bella gets older. If things don’t work out, we will just have 2 wonderful bunbuns!

Good luck in whatever you decide!

this thread has made me a little wary.. i get down on the floor and let mj climb all over me like a human jungle gym and he often ends up at the back of my neck, sniffing my ears (and sometimes trying to eat my hair). last night, after reading this thread, i started thinking to myself, “gee, i hope he doesn’t start humping my head.” he didn’t, thankfully, but now i’m prepared for the day (if) it happens.
