I don’t know if any of you sink to the depth of immaturity that I do by watching “Wipe Out”, but I find it hilarious for some reason. Anyway, there was a guy on there that was trying to win money for a very expensive eye surgery for his rabbit named Yams. As much as the show jokes around and the guy is being funny on it (I think he’s an starving actor of sorts??), he is actually serious about needing the money. Here’s more info about his bunny yams. http://www.saveyams.com to check out the validity – Includes a copy of vet bill which has the vet facility information that people can call and verify the validity. He he says whatever extra money he gets he’ll start a fund to help people who can’t afford vet care.

Anyway – if you watch it all the way through, he gives some pretty accurate information during the funniest times. Like when he’s on the spinny thing, he says “Don’t feed your bunny carrots!” (not that bunnies can’t have carrots, but we know what he means)
See I was watching that and didn’t think he was being accurate at all, I thought he did more harm than good. “don’t feel your bunny carrots, they’ll die!” is what he said. So how many non-rabbit savvy people watching the show now think that you can’t give bunnies carrots at all? I know he was trying to raise money but to me he came off as a scary lunatic. – Annette
BB, you are too much. LOL I only had time to watch less than half this morning before heading for work. I just love his bunny’s name. Wish I’d thought of Yams. Will see the rest tomorrow. Must get offline due to thunder and lightening starting here.
Fiance is obsessed with that show! I thought Yams-man was pretty funny, actually. I definitely agree that he was probably some kind of starving actor who was trying to come across as crazy. I was cracking up. And I liked the exposure for bunnies and the random bunny care comments he threw out.
