So I have an issue with big black carpenter ants. I’ve had the issue on and off for about 6 months. I’ve tried spraying around the outside of house, using the grains and nothing. They are gone for awhile but then reappear. I need to call an exterminator but am afraid of the sprays being harmful to my rabbits. He said it was pet safe (for cats and dogs I’m sure) but what about for bunnies. Any experience with this?   He would spray INSIDE and outside my house.  Thanks.

I just recently had and exterminator come and spray for roaches in our apartment complex. Is there a place you could take the bunnies for the spraying and the wait till it dries? When the guy came to do our apartment, I asked him not to spray around the space where the bunnies pen is. Are they caged/penned, or do they roam freely?

The bonded pair are in one bedroom and single bun in another bedroom. I don’t really have anywhere to take them. The single girl is very nervous about everything. Maybe I could just not have those 2 rooms sprayed yet and could keep them confined to their bedroom until it has dried. Does that sound okay? Did your exterminator say it was pet safe too?

Yes they said it was safe for them, but I dont know how much I believe it even if it is true. I would ask when they come to have them not spray the rooms and stuff a towel under the doors just to seal them off a little more, unless you have ant issues in those rooms. When they came and did my apartment I took them out on our patio.
