› FORUM › THE LOUNGE › Who’s the most popular?
I can’t recall this being done (at least not recently) so I thought it would be interesting to see which breeds are the most popular on Binky Bunny. I’ll keep count as we go along. Put your breed(s) in bold to make it easier ![]()
1 Mini-Rex
1 Mini-Lop
1 Mixed Breed
1 mixed breed (uppy)

Mixed breed (uppy) or just Well Bred, Dahling?
How about changing to Mixed Breed (sleek, uppy ears) or Mixed Breed (droopy, rug cleaning, whatjasay? ears). ![]()
Woot! Forum Leader has appeared under your name Pam!! Sorry…OT
Um, yeah, I just put it there. *blushes*
Jen was having trouble getting it to change, so I thought I’d add it temporarily in that spot until she OKs it or gets the regular way to work.
Having a bad week at work ego-wise and really needed it to appear here. My alter-ego, says Batman.
1 mini rex... REMY! Who is currently trying to up-end his water bowl to get attention.

So far, the most popular is the Mix Breed bunny (I lumped all Mixed breeds in this category, whether it’s a mix of two breeds or unknown), followed closely by the always adorable Mini-Lop. Here’s the results as of right now:
Mix Breed – 12
Mini Lop- 10
Mini Rex – 5
Holland Lop – 5
Dutch – 3
English Lop – 2
Lion Head – 2
Netherland Dwarf – 2
English Angora – 1
Flemish Giant – 1
Black Satin – 1
Agouti – 1
I’ll keep this thread going until Sunday evening and then the most popular breed will be announced. ![]()

I’m boarding 3 lion heads (mixes? 1 has an ear tattoo) here now. Do they count?
1 Polish (and I know that breed isn’t going to win as I think I might have the only one among regular users!)
1 Dwarf/Lop mix So essentially that means you can add half a point to the Dwarf group and half a point to the Lop group!
Are you going to do most popular color next?
That’s a great idea!!!

Ditto!!! I know I shouldn’t, but…
I was told that Samson is a Dwarf lop but the vet said Holland lop…. so not too sure on him.
And then Ivy abandoned in the park after Easter (so Im guessing he’s about 6 mo old now) but I dont know his breed. I’ve been told he may be Californian but he doesnt have any black on him at all. Any ideas on what breed he might be??
THE CUTE KIND!
Just a guess… ; )
I think Ivy is either a New Zealand White or a Florida White – most of that normally depends on the size full grown.
Thanks guys!! Whats the size difference between the two? Ivy weighs about 5 lb now… just wondering how much bigger he will get. Its kinda exciting not knowing… hahah!
I think the Florida Whites usually get up to about 6 pounds. The New Zealands probably between 9 to 12 pounds although my NZ is about 13 pounds.
Fashionably late!!
1 Lionhead
1 Harlequin
1 Holland Lop
1 Netherland dwarf
Possibiilty that all but Kahlua (LH) are mixed as they were all adopted ![]()

1 Polish (and I know that breed isn’t going to win as I think I might have the only one among regular users!)
1 Dwarf/Lop mix So essentially that means you can add half a point to the Dwarf group and half a point to the Lop group!
My hubby wanted a Polish, but when we went to the show we got Monkey at, they didn’t have any. So we ended up with a ND ![]()
And the results are:
1ST PLACE: MIX BREED with 24 bunnies
2ND PLACE: MINI LOP with 12 bunnies
3RD PLACE: HOLLAND LOP with 10 bunnies
4TH PLACE: MINI REX with 8 bunnies
5TH PLACE: LION HEAD with 7 bunnies
Here are the rest of the results:
DUTCH - 3
ENGLISH LOP- 2
NETHERLAND DWARF- 4
And the following breeds had 1 bunny in each category: English Angora, Flemish Giant, Black Satin, Agouti, Palomino, English Spot, Silver Martin, Himalayan, Polish, New Zealand/Florida White, Harlequin
So go give your Mixed Breed bunny a sweet treat for being Binky Bunny’s Official Most Popular Bunny!
On second thought, go give all your bunnies a sweet treat because ALL bunny breeds are adorable and wonderful!![]()
This was fun
Breeds are like rainbows, I guess. The more colors in the mix, the prettier they are.
