Oh that’s terrible. 0_o And he has 5 of these? or just the one? (you said something about 5 organisms in his lip that respond to Baytril)

              *ramps up more healing vibes*

thank you for vibes.  He has 3 of these scabby things and 5 organisms made a home there.  I saw from vets notes one was some type of staph infection.    NO wonder this stuff wouldn’t heal.

this afternoon when it hopefully cools down I am taking him back and returning the needles too.  I want to make extra sure from the vets eye if this has been cured or not.

Somewhere I heard of bacillin  can be used for this.   I may mention it to the vet today if these things haven’t been resolved.  YEs poor little Boo.   HE is so fed up with us lookin at his lip all the time.  Taking biopsy culture poking etc.

Gosh I really hope it is fixed this time.  But I am not so sure it has been resolved.  The scabs are still there just not sticking out all over anymore.   Looked like he has a goatee.

                This is 1 stubborn situation

Staph is a stubborn bug. So the vet will probably just have you keep up with treatments so that it doesn’t progress to any kind of necrotic tissue problem.

Here’s hoping the darn thing finally falls off and leaves us some nice, pink, healthy lip stuff under there! ^_^

Scabs are so annoying since they get in the way, don’t fall off soon, and sometimes form a new one where the last one fell off.

Poor little Boo has been coping with this way too long. I sincerely hope the vet was right this time and he’s cured.

OH, yikes! I replied to your other post about this and asked if maybe a top”off” incisor was continuing to bother this, or even cause this type of infection? Poor thing! I hope it gets better soon!
