Last nite when I gave Cotton his shots I about cried.  He twitched a little when I pushed that serum in real fast.  At least I didn’t pull it out too soon which I tended to do with my allergy shots.  I have to watch that.

He probably twitched cuz it felt funny.

Well here goes #4.  I am counting down the days.   Come on Cotton time for a brushing a shot and a treat.  OH and some cuddles too

I think it’s usually just a slight little sting and that’s it.

I do think it hurts us more than it hurts them.

I learned that the back of the neck where we give shots and the skin bunches up is less sensitive than other areas, so I agree with Sarita.
Don’t think of it as hurting him. Think of it as every minute you are taking away the discomfort he’s had in his lip and he probably feels much, much better.

Yeah you are probably right.  It just feels funny to him.   With my allergy shots sometimes the needle stings going in but once  you get past that first layer thats it.   Though sometimes the serum going in hurts.

              2 more to go.

OH and that middle scab that was hanging and growing out getting in his way.    I got the little scissors that are real sharp and cut the end of it off.  Took a couple of tries.   Cotton doesn’t like it messed with.  Now it is gone and he seems to be doing better grooming and chewing normally again.

I just hope they dont’ return again.
