  Looks pretty harmless right? Well they got recalled because of their potential to cause scorch marks on textiles. My niece has one and this actually happened, it scorched a small part of the carpet. Apparently, if it’s stationary and in direct sunlight for some time, it kind of acts like a magnifying glass and intensifies the light. Amazing! I just wouldn’t have ever thought of it as risky. Well, this may have been reported in your part of the world, just thought I’d mention it.

  Huh interesting! My husband has one from Christmas time..Santa is inside of it LOL…I’ll have to remind him to keep it up on his shelf in his office and away from the kids..that’s the last thing we need LOL..scorch marks! huh..never would have thought!
