I’m not sure if this should go here or in the bonding section…but here it goes..

In Tucker and Drue’s cage is their old bunny friend..the brown stuffed bunny..Drue and Tucker have each had brown bunny in their cages from time to time over the last year..so they’re pretty familiar with their stuffed friend and love him very much..I’m just not sure if stuffed bunny being in there now is a good thing or not since they now have each other.

There has been a few times that I’ve walked into the room and one of them is snuggling with stuffed bunny while the other one just looks on from a foot or so away.  Could the stuffed bunny be causing them to not bond as much since they’re spending a lot of time snuggling with the stuffed bun?  I was just thinking if they don’t need the bunny anymore maybe I should remove the stuffed bunny, but I don’t know if I am just anthromorphizing the situation again since I have a tendency to do that..

But has anyone noticed a problem with having stunt bunnies around a bonded pair?

If your two are fully bonded, I don’t see any problem with removing it. Give the stunt double a break and see if it helps your two get closer.

          Keep us updated.
