UPDATE: I just got a message from ZCRR

“Two more rabbits came in today so we are COMPLETELY FULL at the shelter.

If any of you have space to foster or adopt – or know of someone who might
be able to help – please let us know ASAP.  We have been no-kill up to
this point but truth be told, we are now dangerously close to having no
options left.“

More and more bunnies keep coming in and there isn’t much space left at the shelter.

Forever homes are desperately needed. We’ve got tons of cute, funny, mean, gentle, and crazy rabbits–you’re bound to find one you’ll fall in love with

Most of Zooh Corner’s rabbits are at the San Gabriel shelter (851 E Grand Ave, San Gabriel, CA‎ 91776), if you’d like to come and visit them.

Here are some of the rabbits currently at the shelter:

“Ophelia is truly a beauty worthy of having verses written about her! She is a lovely taupe color, with darker patches to which photographs just don’t do justice. Ophelia LOVES to be pet, and will stand on her hind legs to beg for a nose-rub…and then stay upright for as long as you pet her! Although friendly and loving, Ophelia does have her sassy side. A tad bit of a diva, she doesn’t understand where her Hamlet went, but who needs THAT jerk, anyway?! She’s all ready to be YOUR princess!”

“Samson & Delilah are brother and sister who were found on the streets, but they are as beautiful as can be, and obviously didn’t spend much time roughing it before being brought to Zooh! They are both a beautiful harlequin color, with ears that tend to stick out to the side like airplane wings. Delilah loves people and attention, and will hop straight over to any visitor for pets and snuggles. When she’s out for playtime, she’s just as likely to be crawling into your lap as playing! Samson is a spunky little guy, who is very curious about people and his surroundings. He loves to come out and explore, and will hop right over to people to give them an exploratory sniff, as well! They are both energetic and friendly, bouncy and perky, and hope they can go home soon to someone who will play with them all day long!”

“Minnie is colored like a little black-and-white cow, but nobody would dream of saying that this sweet girl grew up in a barn! Well-mannered, sweet, and dainty, Minnie would not dream of shredding her bedding or tipping her water bowl. A perfect little lady, the worst one could accuse her of is a bit of shyness…but it only takes a nose-rub and a few kind words, and down Minnie comes from her perch to swoon at all the attention! She likes to explore her surroundings, but she really just wants a quiet home, where she can sit with you and cuddle, enjoying each others’ company. Minnie is the perfect little lady bun!”

“Warren is one of Mama-bun Rowan’s boys, and is a sprightly guy with oodles and oodles of energy! The second he comes out to play, he’s up–down–over–under–“hey what’s THAT?!”–in your face–under foot–everywhere! What a blast it is, to watch him take over the room with his energy! Warren has a real zest for life, and wants to be the star-jester in YOUR life! If you want a friend to romp and play with, and to entertain you with his high-jinks, Warren’s the rabbit for you!”
