still little poops but now there is eye gunk! Anyone ever had the same?

  Anyone ever had their bun do this?? I have cut out all treats and pellets for the last 48 hours. Tonks is still lethargic and pooping little tiny poops. She’s only eating about half the veggies and hay she normally eats. And this morning she has big gunks of eye goo which she has never had. I am taking her to the vet at 3:30 but i’m still so worried. Wondering if anyone has gone thru the same thing? I’m hoping it’s a good sign that she is eating some and drinking and peeing and pooping. But she’s just so listless. Won’t even come out of her cage.

  Vibes to Tonks. It’s good you are taking her to the vet. I’ve had rabbits stop eating before…not sure if the eye gunk is related though or maybe it’s just a coincidence.

  Well she had a fever of 104.4! She has a viral infection. She got some antibiotics and eye drops and i’m going to drop off a stool sample tomorrow. The Dr sounded positive that she will clear up!! I really hope so. Her nose is all stuffy now !! Hope the anti biotics kick in soon!! I feel so bad for her!! Thanks for the Vibes Sarita!!!

  So sorry to hear about Tonks not feeling well! Sounds like the vet thinks she will make a full, quick recovery and that is great.
  
  I wonder since she was not feeling well and not eating as much that made her poos smaller- probably not as much fiber from hay. And since she was not feeling well she was not cleaning her face either and that is why you noticed it so suddenly (or maybe the eye goop came on suddenly?).
  
  Is Tempe doing OK, showing any symptoms?

  Thanks for all the kind words!! Tonks is doing sooo much better. She’s still not 100% but she is eating better and pooping normal again. He told me to watch out for Tempe for any symptoms but she is doing great!! I’m just glad Tonks takes her medicine easily!!! I’ll keep you all posted!!
