You guys all remember the movie “Ten Things I hate About You” right?
Well, this post has nothing to do with that. lolz….
Upon checking the post about the great article in the SF Gate about rabbits and keeping them as housepets, I figured it’s time to ask YOU all about what you love best about being a rabbit mum, or dad.
I’ll begin…successive posters can add as many happy thoughts as you like.
1.) Are you kidding me? Who could resist those adorable little faces and soulful eyes? The joy of being a bunny mum is often solely expressed by the feeling it gives one to just gaze upon your little furry friend and know that they adore you as the person who cares for them, feeds and cleans them and their habitat…that here in your care there are no predators, no reason to fear and LOTS of noserubs!
A place for a bunny to puddle and cuddle and enjoy the obvious love for life that each one of them shows in a unique way.
In other words…darn they are cute! And sweet! And soft! And so much easier (in my opinion) to care for than a cat or dog with less liability involved. (You don’t have to worry that they are going to get off their lead and go bite someone who will then sue you…nor will they prowl the neighborhood in the middle of the night and eat your neighbor’s prize chicken.)
Don’t get me wrong. I love my dogs and cats. But had I known just how wonderful my life could be with bunnies in the first place…I’d have a warren full by now I suppose!
Okay, my reason is a bit weird,
but I know everyone here can do better than me…go! *waves starter flag*
