Last night I removed the second litter box from my trio’s condo. I expected some disapproval puddles this morning… but nothing!!! Now cleaning will be a breeze since they all share one, plus it saves on litter and hay.

Congratulations! What size is your box for all 3?

            It measures 24″ L by 17″ W by 19″H. It is actually a cage with a tray.

Sarita, do you think it’s not enough for three, one toilet house? They do all fit. But then it’s a full house.

I do – I think it would have to be changed more often but I think it’s worth it.

My two large buns share a single large litterbox and for a long while I had two in their space. Now I do have to vacuum twice daily because they aren’t perfect at using the litter box but I had to do that with 2 anyway and I change their litter boxes every 4 days but having to do just one is so much easier. Of course I change a total of 7 litter boxes every 4 days so getting it down to one litter box for rabbit or rabbit pair was what I needed to do.

I clean mine daily and it takes no time at all. I bought a second tray so all I need to do is swap trays and change the hay.

Sarita, how many rabbits do you have, or do you foster, too?

Those “starter cage” bottoms are a good size for a litterbox. Some people will use the plastic Sterilite “under-the-bed” storage containers as a litter box too. Those are about the same size.
